HISTORY PLASTICO, the parent company of PumpTech, was established in 1970. From the beginning, the company has sold liquid handling equipment. By 1989, pumps became such a large part of our business, we decided to establish a separate pump division to show our true commitment to the pump market. COMPUTER PUMP SELECTION CUSTOM DEVELOPED COMPUTER PROGRAM SPEEDS ANSWERS TO CUSTOMERS! Our engineers developed a unique pump selection program. Not only is this program able to select appropriate pumps based upon flow rates and pressures, but it also compares the materials of construction of the pumps to the liquid being delivered. We loaded the computer with hundreds of pumps and chemicals which enable it to select from the simplest hand pump to the most complicated metering pump. This program not only checks the normal materials of construction, but also selects alternate materials.
